It is a pleasure to welcome you to ASFG's High School. We are proud of the high school experience
that immerses us in our school's vision: Inspire, educate, and act to better our world.
Our ASFG high school has an inspiring atmosphere with teachers and students working together
to promote and develop numerous opportunities for unique learning within today's multidimensional,
complex world. Our curricular and extracurricular programs deliver the skills and knowledge our
students need to be successful as they transition to college. We support our students to take
action and thus our instruction intentionally gives students the opportunity to investigate issues
and then design, act, and reflect upon how they meet the needs of their local, national, or global
community. We are proud of the agents of change our students become as they journey towards adulthood.
I invite you to get to know our school and community. In doing so, you will discover why we love ASFG.
Brian has been at ASFG since 2006. He holds a M.A. in International Education from Framingham University. His undergraduate studies were completed at DePaul University with a B.A. in Secondary Education. He has experience both as a Technology Coach and Social Studies Teacher in the middle and high school levels. Most recently, Brian enjoyed working with students and teachers as the High School Assistant Principal. He loves high school because of the numerous opportunities our ASFG students have to take risks with each "first attempt in learning (FAIL)" or opportunities to "fail safely" as Mr. Zink likes to say.
