Staff Development
Staff development is an integral part of the academic program at ASFG. All academic personnel accumulate a minimum
of six credit hours (120 clock hours) of professional development activities such as workshops, seminars, and conferences
within a five-year period of time. We have a full staff development program that promotes and plans these activities
throughout the year. We encourage our faculty and support staff to earn Master’s degrees in their fields either
from the US or in Mexico by offering university programs on campus. Every year we send selected staff members to
national and international academic gatherings to learn the latest in techniques, methodology, and knowledge available in
their academic field. When they return they share their new-found skills with their colleagues. In this way,
the ASFG counts its staff among the most highly prepared in international schools world-wide.
For more information on ASFG’s staff development program, please contact the Director of Instructional Programs, Patrizia Micelli, at patrizia.micelli@asfg.mx.
